The book is concise, well written, but most importantly it is full of practical insights and tips to take the lessons from the book to the practice range and subsequently to the golf course. There are a number of drills, both physical and mental, that are brought out in the book and this sets this book apart from other mental game books. Dr. Rob emphasizes making your practice count by making it more stressful than actual competition and gives you exact ways to make this happen. I think any level golfer who is trying to improve their game can benefit from this book, but everyone who competes in any level of competition would be helped by the insights and lessons that are presented here. As an aside, I have worked with Dr. Bell personally and he helped me take my game to the proverbial next level, which for me was from local club competitions to competing at the state championship level. Before they got to it though, I read it in a day. Although I play tennis, it applied to my game as well. My favorite parts were playing with "no expectations" and "controlling what I can control." I can easily apply the practice ideas in my game.
